Week 3 Results

With 3 weeks in the books, we finally have someone in sole possession of first place. Jen, after a strong 13 point week, has a one point advantage over Matt. Scott and Ryan sit in third position, two points behind Jen. Here are the week results:

Rising Like a Phoenix: Janie, coming off a 5 point week thanks in large part to missing the early game deadline, tied for the week lead with 13 points. She's still at the bottom of the table, but is one good week from passing Taylor and possibly even Bill and Chris. Holly also had an impressive 5 point bump.

Sinking Like a Stone: Chris and Taylor both dropped three points from last week's totals.

Another Reason to Hate Brett Favre: The Gunslinger's last-second answered Hail Mary cost Scott, John, Chris and Taylor a point.

Upset of the Week: Cincinnati's win over the Steelers cost everybody a point except Chris. The game also cost Dave some blood pressure points.

Random Fact: Of all our teams, only the Steelers (at 1-2) have both a win and a loss. The Giants, Colts and Jets(!) are 3-0, and the Browns are 0-3. You're welcome for Mangini, Holly.

Consistency is Key: Nancy has scored 11 points each week so far.
