I never wrote a year-end recap at the conclusion of the 2008 season, for one simple reason- I was distraught. Dave and I were tied going into the final week, and I had the title in sight. But then the Vikings beat the Giants, and the rest is history.
Dave joins Jen as the two-time champions of this league, a very impressive feat. It deserved my praise earlier, so I'm going to make it up to him this way. As you can see, the blog's look has changed drastically. I decided that the winner of the league each year should have his team's colors prominently displayed on the site. Therefore, this blog will be adorned in black and yellow, with steel, red and blue accents (I didn't forget about you, my little hypocycloids on the left side of the helmet).
[Side note- it's yellow, not gold. The Penguins wear gold; the Steelers wear yellow. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the best looking uniforms in all of sports, but it's yellow. End rant.]
The colors will change once a new champion is crowned. Congrats again, Dave.
