For this week's awards, I'm focusing mainly on teams. Teams that are nice to us, and teams that seem to screw us no matter what. I'll also mention the best and worst pick of the week.
Teams we Should Love: Houston, the Giants, Arizona and Indianapolis were picked correctly by all of us. Thanks should also be given to the Dolphins, Jets, Rams and Bucs for losing like they were supposed to. Good boys.
Extra Special Thanks: To the Buffalo Bills, for choking in the most glorious way possible. At this point, they should name a lifetime achievement award after you.
"I feel like I just got screwed with my pants on": Out of the 12 of us, 11 picked the Packers to beat the Bears. Brett Favre cannot be trusted. Special mention should also go to the Saints, who lead the league in most times picked incorrectly to win. 8 of us fell for the same stupid trick again. And what kind of year has it been when half the league picks the Lions to win on the road?
Best Pick of the Week: I don't know why anyone would have picked Brian Griese and the Bears on the road to beat the previously-undefeated Packers, but Nancy and Janie did. Honorable mention for best pick goes to any of Tony Romo's 5 interceptions he threw Monday night.
Worst Pick of the Week: Holly and I don't like the Steelers. At all. Apparently, the Steelers wanted to make us pay for that. That pick turned out worse than Trent Green's block on Travis Johnson.
